  1. Video games are not dangerous. It depends on the child’s age level and maturity. It’s on the parents to watch there kids or don’t have kids if you don’t have time. Smh.

  2. I was a school counselor for 28 years & counseled many families. There are many things in our culture that contribute to violent behavior, video games are only one of them. In many families when we replaced violent video games with nonviolent games, the child's behavior changed dramatically, the child was much happier & better adjusted socially. Limit video games to 20 minutes per day and have the child earn the privilege to play. Stay away from HALO, grand theft auto, etc-the globalists are brainwashing your child to join the military or become a criminal thug.

  3. Yeah, we would totally be better off without violence in media but guess what: humans have been slaughtering each other since Cain slew Abel back in the day!You think Stalin and Hitler were playing Call of Duty in their mom's basement with Ghengis Khan? Maybe we should educate people on what is a pixel and what is real. Your brain is real and that chemical soup going into it is real. What is the problem? Knowledge. Lack thereof.

  4. I used to argue with my coworker about his mortal kombat obsession. I told him he was desensitizing himself. Then one day he committed suicide. He was 55. I don't make these comments any more. Took a long time to get over this.

  5. First of all you can't group all games together there are to many different types. Second it sounds like another scapegoat for the behavior. Third its the person that choses to act in real life therfore the games have nothing to do with it. Yes games are addictive but its because they are fun. Ive been gaming for 20+ years and never hurt anyone. My sons are gamers and know the difference between fantasy and real life. And they are VERY kind to all. My point is clear its the people who raise these childeren are responsible not a video game. Its people who chose to hurt who are responsable quit blaming everything else but the peson.

  6. Well said! No father in the kids life, no role model, poor diet, poor as hell but I got a $350 X Box and plenty of time and games. In my home growing up it was the law all 6 of us was to be at the dinner table for dinner. There was none of that stuff eating in front of the TV, or in your room. Everybody was to be there and we shared what went on today, what's going on at school, etc… Then we cleaned the kitchen and washed dishes after dinner. We had chores to do, we helped each other and Sat was really the big TV day with cartoons, but not all day sitting in front of a television set.

  7. FAMILIARITY BREEDS CONTEMPT… once you have first done something the second time is much easier. Example: you invite someone into your home you’ve just met & barely know. They ask to use your restroom & while they are at that end of the house they poke their head in to see your bedroom. So the next time they come over & you let them into your home instead of permission to use the restroom they may say I’m using your restroom while already on their way there. & since they have seen your bedroom & are familiar will assume it is ok to enter it. Next time they may not bother to knock before entering your home if aggressive enough & you have left the front door unlocked. They may just walk in saying something like “anybody home”. Well it is this same concept with blood, guts & gore even on a video game. You see so much blood guts & gore made to look so real on TV 24/7. Walking Dead, Zombie Apocalypse & so on & so on never ending. Hollywood seems to be pushing this stuff on you with having nothing else on you haven’t seen a million times. So you see it for the first time it’s too gory so you cover your eyes. You might even change the channel & watch that same ole rerun. But the story line on the gory movie was pretty good so you give it another shot & eventually you don’t cover your eyes or change the channel. You have become familiar & it gets easier & easier to watch. Before you know it the realistic blood, guts & gore means little to nothing because you’ve seen it over & over. Before long you would be qualified to work medical in a war zone you’ve become so used to seeing it on TV & at the movies where it looks so realistic that in life may the first time is a little bit of a shocker & a rush but not so sickening because you’ve become so familiar to it on TV & in the movies. At this point if you have mental or anger issues it would be nothing to invent that blood, guts & gore your self & not be phased by the horrific sight because you have familiarized yourself to it so much you don’t see the horror in it anymore & are only pumped up by the action.
MY ANSWER IS “YES” VIDEO GAMES & TV SHOWS & MOVIES PLAY A HUGE PART IN THE KILLINGS AND MASS MURDERS OF TODAY by FAMILIARITY & because you have seen it so much & the blood guts & gore look so realistic IT IS SO EASY TO BREED CONTEMPT WITH NO THOUGHT TO IT’S HORRIFIC IN NATURE OR IT’S CONSEQUENCES BECAUSE IT HAS BECOME SO FAMILIAR in SIGHT & MIND & SOON THOUGHT when angered or mentally unstable.

  8. Does the use of drones by the military, desensitize the soldiers from the blood and guts they spill, on a monitor?
Civilian deaths have been reduced to 'collateral damage'. So says US generals.

  9. No Sin does, video games definitely help desensitize people's behavior even more and music is similar. I didn't need a study to tell me that because I was almost part of one of those violent Acts, praise God it never materialized.

  10. What video games have us humans been playing for 5,000+ years? I'd like to know. Violence has always been around and it's only now that we see and hear about it regularly because communication is faster than it ever has been.

  11. Yes. And teachers and psychologists have known for years. Kid was getting in a lot of trouble. They brought it up in a meeting. No more video games. Behavior changes. That's cause and effect proof

  12. I am an in home behavioral therapist in 4 counties for 15 years. Nothing has created a generation of dangerous, aggressive, completely out of control kids more than the removal of the father from the home, no work responsibilities, massive killing games & Grand Theft auto. The killing games has desensitized a generation, while GTA has created a generation of thugs and whores.
    END THE MENTAL HEALTH INDUSTRY!
